Types of Game Play
Rupert Mountain Paintball
The most common game type. 2 teams square off to the last members standing. Whn an entire team is out the game ends.
Team Death Match
Capture the Flag
Similar to team death match but game can be won by taking other teams flag. This game if often played in a point system in a 3-5 game match. Example:
Scores Flag Capture 50 points
Team eliminated 30 points
Flags can be placed in teh center of the field or at each end, depending on the amount of players.
President's Man
One player from team A becomes the president (no gun). Team A must get president to saftey zone across Team B's property without getting eliminated or president shot. President may or may not be granted a small sheild to rotect himself. It's a great team effort game.
Hostage Scenario
Team A must kill all of Team B without hitting hostage (usually a large movable object like a bucket. I don't have a dummy). Hitting the hostage or eliminating Team B ends the game. Team B can use the hostage as a sheild and attack/defend their area. Normally the Team B is 1/3 the size of Team A to balance things out.
Base Attack
Team A must kill all of Team B and take their fort. Basically take the bunker without running out of paint. If teh Fort is taken, then Team B must try to take it back. A team scores by removing the other team from the bunker and occupying that space.
This game is sometimes played with regenerating players for a set time period (15-20 minutes). Shot players must regroup at a distant location after being shot, but then they can re-enter the game.
Hunter/Hunted
Usually played by small groups (3-5 players). 1 person enters the field without the of players seeing his placement. The other players then enter the field and try to hunt down and kill the hiding player. The play that shots the hunted member gets to be hunted next round. If the hunted player makes it across the field to the safe zone, he gets to play the next round again.
