Note, if you are under 18, you will need your parents to drop you off the first time to get them to sign a waiver (I need to witness this). No waiver-no play. Sorry.
Where to get stuff?
What to Bring.....
Rupert Mountain Paintball is a "Bring Your Own" field.
We do not have a store front, so we offer little as far as supplies unless you call/email in advance. We are not a business but we do a have a small field use fee to help pay for field improvements.

  1. Paintballs for sale. A normal player can use anywhere from 500-1000 rounds in a 3 hour period. Please call or email me 3-4 days in advance if you need balls so that I can make sure we have them in stock.

  1. CO2 Air refills.

  1. Guns for use. I have 11 rental guns for anyone's use. Each gun has a mask to go with it. It's a first come/first serve on the guns so call or email me to reserve one for the day of play.

See Fee's page for more information.
We do offer...
  1. Food or drinks. Please bring your own water, food, and drinks. Please no alcohol. I do have a grill if you want to cook burgers or hot dogs.

  1. Shade or shelter. We have a picnic table but no umbrella to hide from the sun. You can sit and rest under the trees in the shade off of the playing area.

  1. Repairs on guns.

4. Phone for public use in the playing area. Most cells phone don't work on the field since Rupert is a no coverage area. A phone is available for emergency use.
We do NOT offer...
  1. Gun, air, and balls. If you do not own or have these items, please call me 3-4 days in advance so that I can make sure they are on hand. You are welcome to buy your own balls to bring to the field. I know some players prefer certain brands or spec. level of balls. You can pick them up at Dicks, Walmart (don't recommend- balls usually broken), Marty's Sports in Bennington, or many other hunting supplies stores.

  1. Water. Please bring enough water for yourself and anyone coming with you. Dehydration IS a serious health concern. I know down in Virginia, 3-4 people die each year from heatstroke while playing paintball.

  1. Attire....Pants (not shorts), long sleeve shirt, gloves, Combat boots or sneakers, and knee pads. For younger players, soft caps and throat protection. Stores also sell chest protection. Since the terrain is rocky, I personally recommend kneepads and boots. Clothing in camo, black, grey or brown helps a lot.

I also recommend bug spray to spray your clothing to avoid ticks.....

  1. Paper towels to clean your mask and gear.

  1. If you are bringing your own gun (marker), please bring a barrel plug. No plug, no play. Sorry but safety first.

6. Lawn chair and/or fold-up table. We have 1 table avaible so space is limited.
I Recommend Everyone Bring....
Under 18????
Waiver
To play on Rupert Mountain's Field, you will need to sign a waiver. The property owner and host will not be responsible for any accidents, medical, property damage, or death. This waiver is available by email or on site. Please call or ask if you have any questions. This is an extreme sport. Most injuries are twisted ankles or broken limbs from falling. Other injuries are the result of negligence from players. These include:

  1. Shooting a person in eye/mouth without mask on.

  1. Shooting a person with air velocity turned up too high. Each player playing on our field is required have their gun calibrated to a safe level before playing. Some players turn the velocity up while on the field to get better distance.

  1. Shooting a person at too close range.

4. If you are bringing your own gun (marker), make sure you have a sleeve or barrel plug. You will not be allowed to play or even load up without this important item. I do have a few spares...
Do not bring...
  1. Alcohol
  2. A marker or gun that only shoots fully automatic.
  3. Smoke bombs due to fire hazard. Paint grenades are welcome.
Time Saver...
If you are bringing your own equipment, it is advised that you prepare and set up your marker before you show up. I've know many players that spend 2-3 hours fooling with their guns before even playing. Make sure that your marker:

  1. Is not set on fully automatic.

  1. The air speed can be adjusted. If you don't have a chrono, make sure that your air can be adjusted and corrected on the field. If we can not get you to 280 max, you will not be allowed on the field to play.

  1. Shoots correctly. Does not break or cut balls. Shoots straight.

  1. You have a fresh or back-up battery for your hopper.

5. You have all the parts and your marker is fully assembled. Do not bring the gun on the field with the air tank attached already. Please....
